Week over for me
Well my work week is officially over. I will be in a seminar all day tomorrow and probably check the email tomorrow evening. I talked to the boss lady and gave her my updates. Hopefully nothing will break in the next two days with my name on it. : )
Well, I sent my kids to school this morning. Since my son seems to be bouncing off the walls again and my daughter had no fever nor temp. But as you would know, I ended up going to pick her up around 10 a.m. So I was a bad Dad by telling my daughter to toughen up and suck it in. (Not really but it seemed like it afterwards). She was looking pretty pale and just laid down all day. Later tonight she got sick again and was praying to the porcelein god again.
At least my son is feeling much better. My wife still isn't her full self. But she continues to do it all. Amazing. She's my hero. : )
Drinking the rest of the wine myself tonight. We had a bottle in the bottom of the fridge for nearly 3 months and broke it open a couple of nights ago. So since my wife still has a belly ache, I took the job of finishing it off. yeah me.
As I write this, Kelli is reading about lipstick having lead in it causing cancer, providing a list of known brands using lead. Hmm, let's think about this. Lead poisening is known. Let's put it in lipsticks. Want to know if your lipstick contains lead? Apply some on your hand, use a gold ring to rub in it and if the lipstick turns black, you have lead in your lipstick.
Concerning the Election. I am glad it's over. Kerry did a good job in conceding defeat, but the Liberals seem to have a hard time accepting defeat. Listening to Rush and Hannity, when some liberals call in it gets down right scary to hear them. They bring up all kinds of conspiracy theories, still believing in the concept of Bush stealing the 2000 election. sigh. One guy actually was looking at the possibility of a judge ruling Bush in for another 4 years. The liberals are so out of touch in reality they cannot take this in. Unreal. Sad really if you think about it.
Oh well. What can you do. It's over people, Daschel is out, the exit polls was flat out wrong, the county map shows nearly all red.
